GEMSTONE CUTTING SERVICES After a couple years of searching I have located an overseas facetting facility that does excellent work. They cut almost any material, to American standards and for a very competative price. Prices are as follows:
An Example of Our Overseas Cutting Our overseas cutting is some of the highest quality facetting that I have seen.			CHARGES For standard shapes: emerald, round brilliant, oval, pear...6.00/ct For fancy shapes and difficult stones...7.50/ct For all gems weighing less than 0.50 ct...3.00/stone For all stones over 10 carats finished weight add...5.00/stone The only additional costs will be actual shipping charges to and from the cutting facility.
How long does cutting usually take? There is usually a 8-10 week turn around on stones. This can be as long as 12-16 weeks if the cutting factory is very busy. I do not require a minimum, but I will wait to ship until I have at least 100 grams of rough to be sent, usually no more than 1 or 2 additional weeks. CABACHON CUTTING SERVICE I also offer a cabachon cutting service that is done here in the US. I have all of my cabachons cut by this same cutter. Stones are usually returned within a 3-4 weeks. Prices for cutting vary from stone to stone. The standard fee is 10 dollars/stone, but can vary up or down depending on size, material, etc. There is a flat 15 dollar shipping fee to cover shipping and insurance both ways. If you wish to waive the insurance the shipping will be only 6.00 total. Please contact me for further information about this service.
